Oh ok.. I think the strap looks fine (from what I can tell in your piccy). Personally I don't like leather on divers (what's the point?). Also I really like that yours has a 'modern' take on the diver that isn't just yet another sub homage/variant... It's not vintage and it's not dress, so I think leather will look wrong on it.
At any rate, it's a lush watch.
