Red rear hub and my general distaste for S80s aside, it's pretty damn good, doesn't belong here no way!

A rather unhappy Basso Viper...
I've got a currently unpublished CP which is destined for Rat Bikes! but has a worrying similarity to the above.
Should be finished in a few hours, If I can sort out my problem with the one-piece Thorn 22.2 to 25.4 shim I received today...

Doesn't float my boat, not anti either. Compared to some of the new TT bikes Trek/Specialized came out with it's a grace of classical beauty...

Technically, my Ventus is a "handlestem", so yes. I think there are a few Integralters on the forum too.

Is there any clear advantage to them? I imagine the aero-profile is better than stem + handlebar.
As downsides I would image you need to be a 100% sure the stem...er...handlestem length is OK and the profile needs to match your hands. No swapping.

The Ventus has good aeros. Never seen a road handlestem which had any benefit over separates, they are usually a bit porky compared with the same money spent on a separate bar and stem.

In the world of Integralters there doesn't need to be any technical or performance benefit. The benefit is that you own Integralters.
