Sorry, I recall there was a time when this thread was called 'Bike Polo Events', and it's not BS, it's a serious as shit tournament!

I guess it needs its own thread. But then newbs might miss it...

Just scrolled right to the top and it's definatly says "Birmingham Bike Polo (Weds 18:30 Highgate / Sun 10:00 Highgate)" so I guess as the serious as shit tournement is on a sunday at Highgate and starts at about 10:00 its probably in the right place. Good work Dan, I'll leave now.

I like the idea of having three players be captains, who then take turns to choose teammates, just like school. Everyone has fond memories of that, right?

As a twist, we could have it as the three newest players are 'captains', or three middly players, or just random players... I don't know why, but I like the drama of choosing rather than just randomly appointing people. That way there is a greater chance of avoiding people you dislike playing with (whether they are experienced or inexperienced).

I reckon Chris, Neil and LJ are the three closest ability players. How about them for captains? Reverse the picking order so if Chris gets first pick in the first round, and LJ goes last, then LJ gets first pick in the last round and Chris goes last? Is that called 'serpentine' or something?
