Grass track racing is fun, tires can be a problem, a lot of people run dry cyclocross tires, mostly on old steel frames or something else but with cheap cyclocross or touring forks, however it is possible to run road tires on a dry/hard track. Mildenhall rally is one of the biggest meetings and there are lots others in the eastern region of which I have done most.
