  • Numbers time, trying to get a ball-park estimation of kit runs, membership size, etc. Want to figure out just what I'm getting myself into.

Thoughts right now that directly affect you:

    • Membership of LFGSS CC to be free or very very cheap (token processing amount)
    • No commercial sponsorship (initially, to be reviewed later)
    • LFGSS CC Jersey will be in the £35 > £45 range, may be closer to £45
    • If you've never had a British Cycling race licence, year 1 bronze level will be free which gives you a provisional licence, though year 1 of silver level is probably better if you intend to race and would be a £15 discount.

    Thoughts that are general:

    • It will be non-profit, registered as a CASC (look it up)
    • The spirit of the club is "Fuck it, let's give that a try" and to encourage people to dip their toes into various sports in the cycling world
    • There will be no centrally organised club rides, you can organise your own
    • The club existing, and being substantially sized will help open doors to facilities we might not have access to otherwise
    • Nothing about LFGSS CC stops you from riding for another club, in fact if you're taking it seriously you'd probably want to, we're a grass roots springboard only

In the list... please put your username, and whether you would buy a jersey (quantity irrelevant, ballpark is all we need) and finally whether or not you're likely to want to hold a BC race licence (first season is free if you never have held one before).

    Simple format of the list:

    name +jersey +race

Where "+jersey" is only added if you're buying one or more, and "+race" is only added if you will hold a race licence with LFGSS as your club.

    1. Velocio +jersey +race
