  • There appears to be two competing Bike Fitting threads and I wasn't sure which one to dredge but picked this one.

I'm after a fitting for two reasons:

    1) I've had on-off arse/undercarriage pain for about 18 months and a newly awoken knee issue.
    2) I'm looking to buy/build my first "proper" geared bike (well two actually) and want to make the best informed decision I can about what size frame to get.

From the looks of it most of these services seem to cater to proper racers but I was going to get a fit on my S/S Pompino first then carry over the fit data to my new geared bikes. Will it be worth paying £250 for a "non-race" fitting or am I better off getting a cheaper fit?
