  • Around here there are a lot of hippies that yarn bomb trees.
    When it rains the yarn can potentially hold enough moisture in to encourage mould.

    Genuine question - why do they do that (yarn bomb)? Can't quite see the point? Is it because I'm not a hippy?

    Edit - looked it up on Google. Didn't realise it was when people 'knit over' trees. From the name I'd imagined it to be someone trowign threads of yarn over a tree like kids do with toilet paper.
