  • Nice job. Where you going on it?

  • were ever my legs will take me!

  • not being negative, but for an e-e build i'd have bar-end shifters, a triple, mudguards, bigger tyres and a more relaxed frame geo

in other words not what you've got!

but each to their own, good luck on your travels

  • I agree this is currently in club build for my Sunday club runs. I will have 28c and guards fitted for my long distance runs. I'll post some pics when in that build. As for the geo if it was any more relaxed i'd fall a sleep at the bars. I hate bar end shifters just like front wheel drive cars too much going on up front.

  • Not keen on the giraffe Technomic stem. They always make steering sketchy as Hell. A compact geometry would have allowed for the rise at the front.

Still, I'm a fan of Bob Jackson frames. Got a couple myself.

  • I just finished mine today.

  • Hallo
Just had the same frame built up and did my first ride on Sunday. However although the bike went great I now have a very painful shoulder from the riding position. I am a woman and found the handlebars too low. I was interested to see that you included a nitto technomic stem to raise the handlebars. I have just ordered the dirt trap nitto stem which has a rise in it but wonder how you find the technomic stem as I wasn't sure which to go for? Do you find the longer stem alters the handling of the bike at all? I have also got a 21 1/2 inch frame and I am 5 foot 7 but have been riding a mtb recently so I think it was too big a change! Would be grateful for your advice and thoughts.

  • Have you had a bike fit, or used a bike fit calculator > http://www.competitivecyclist.com/Store/catalog/fitCalculatorBike.jsp

Unfortunately you may find the top tube is too long for your morphology, some advice here > http://echelonsportcycling.com/posts/31-women-s-bike-fit-issues
