  • I'll give you some, without ever having owned one.

They drink fuel, like a large car.

The fuel injection makes them coarse to ride.

The side-mounted radiators only work when moving quite fast, meaning the cooling struggles everywhere south of Edinburgh.

They are torture over long distances.

They vibrate enough to give you a very sore head.

The under slung exhaust means you cannot jack the front end off the ground easily.

They are top heavy, so fall over if you try the above. It makes a front tyre replacement 'tricky'.

Because they are super racey, the parts you'll need are super expensive.

The fuel tank is too small for anything more than cafe racing.

Because you'll regret it, and then want to sell it. And no one will buy it.

Because they make you look like you are trying too hard, and you will be.

Because they are just not that good.

And lastly, because the line of the silencers doesn't follow the line of the tail unit, they look fugly.

(I have ridden one, and couldn't wait to get off.)

    Hope that works.
