I'm probably up for this.
I can convert my winter mtb. I just need some 26 inch slick tyres, holdfast type pedal straps and a short 25.4mm 1.1/8" A head stem.

The wheels off my old polo bike are for sale:
Fixed/5 speed rear, 17 tooth cog, Normandy Hubs, a little out of true, 37c tires with less than 10 miles use, £50 or the Tyres and Tubes on their own for £10. Tubes have Shrader valves so need bigger rim holes.
