What time is it? Watches and horology

I've very recently won a project that means I could put 2k aside for a Pelagos or put it aside for my wedding coming up this March.

If my beloved even knew I just typed that ^ I would be completely dead :)

I'm pretty sure that if the next thing I buy for over £500 isn't an engagement ring, i'm fucked.
