As with everything that the forruns started, us Brits end up doing it better. :)

That's quite a self-assured and striking name. Almost tempted to visit Margate now.

Oliver, I realise you speak better English than most of us and have lived here longer than some of us have been alive, but since when were you a Brit?

  • Since he bought that moody passport off Romford market

  • It's a damn fine year for blackberries.

    It's getting better, yes -

BlackBerry recently announced its quarterly fiscal results which missed analysts’ estimates. It was believed that the company’s new BlackBerry 10 devices had actually performed well in the market, but as it turns out, only 2.7 million units were shipped in the first full quarter in which both the Q10 and Z10 were available. Since then the company’s stock has dipped significantly. However, Digitimes reports that BlackBerry’s supply chain in Taiwan believes that sales will get better in the second half of this year.: http://www.ubergizmo.com/2013/07/blackberry-sales-to-get-better-in-second-half-of-2013-report/

I'll have you know that my cousin is an authorised reseller of passports. It says so on the certificate I made printed out had framed for him.

  • Pulled pork last night. Delicious. That is all.

  • I have no requirements, but I want to take my girlfriend somewhere nice for dinner tonight. Nothing to Casual... Along the lines of Trullo / Quality Chop House and North East ideally - any gems?

  • Why does everything have to be called "Great British" whatever at the moment? I suppose it's indicative of some awful post-jubilee retro nostalgic patriotic bullshit. What rot. I mean, pizza?

Since when has pizza been British?

    Exactly.

  • Have just rung Patty & Bun with my lunch order, can see it from outside the window by my desk. Mmmmm.

Ah yes. The Great British Whinge!

  • The name is not the best. But the pizza is fucking awesome. I can live with that.

  • Not lazy just refusing to queue

I had the hot chic chicken burger, was amazing. The hot sauce was running down my arm, can't go wrong with food that runs down your arm.

  • If you want controversial - 'Best Pizza' was the name of my local pie shop in NYC...

    Nothing else needed.
You know how good it is.

  • Looking for somewhere nice to eat near Paddington. Suggestions?

  • SatayHouse, Bonda Cafe (very cheap) or Tudkin. All Malaysian and all good.

  • Tonight:-

    Cream of wild mushroom soup.

Roast wild rabbit, stuffed with rabbit liver, rosemary & sage, wrapped in streaky bacon, and in a honey/mustard glaze, on a bed of winter vegetables.

    Rosemary roast potatoes.

Mandarin peel ice cream, with orange brandy liqueur.

Cheeseboard - Epoisse, Brie, Tomme du Savoie, Yarg, Manchego, and a couple of others.

A wealth of wine as a starter.

  • That sounds incredible - but the sort of thing I'd want to eat in two months' time. Away autumn! Not yet you don't! :-)

  • A taste of autumn for the mouth watering.

  • SatayHouse, Bonda Cafe (very cheap) or Tudkin. All Malaysian and all good.

    Cheers!

    think I'll go Satay house
