^ These are the new ones though, that came out in the shitty café cream colour with silver components?

tut tut, trust me I have seen very, very many genuine, handcrafted & built in Italy Columbus steel Colnago's, hence my surprise at this one.
There's being surprised and there's point blank saying 'frame is not Colnago'.
Do your homework.

It's a bit like saying a Mini is a Mini...

sure man, thanks.
fyi none of the photos that were up at the time I posted that comment showed panto'd clover leaf in the frame, only in the fork.

well lease we have cleared that its genuine colnago

It's very unusual seeing a Colnago without the expected 'arabesque' styled headtube lugs, seat stays shot into the rear of the casting rather than the side, and the wheelbase is pretty long for a pista

Love the wheels, how much just for those?

Beautiful,out of my league unfortunately.

Does it say anywhere on the bike that its a Colnago aside from the decals? Is on the BB as an example?

Damn, why don't you guys read.. It is a Colnago, but it's their input to the hipsterfixiescene, it's a 2008 Master Pista orso which is a single speed frame which is drilled for brakes and has bottle bosses.
So yes it is a genuine Colnago, although I doubt that it's been made in italy.
Price is also to high for such an item to sell on this forum. -

I have read, I was just curious. Never seen one before. And I can't find many references to it on the Internet, aside from the above link.

Don't split, it's an awesome looking bike, drool !!
-
• #42
I would rather keep it as a complete bike to sell but will give it some more time and then I split
-

It's a Colnago, but not a real Colnago, I think that's what we mean.
-
• #44
It's no different to one of these.
It's just a 'nago for city boys to play hipster on the weekend.
The fact they've made it transparently as cheaply as possible (rear dropout not chromed, no panto on the seat stay etc) is a bit of an embarrassment if you're shelling out 1.5k on a frame.

Beautiful bike. Wish it was my size.

^^^^This has A-head stem, the seat tube lugs are typical colnago...shot into the seat tube area rather than behind the cluster as seen in the bike for sale...
not being a twat but my Colnagos' club engravings on the rear brake bridge are dead centre rather than sloppily uncentred and the 'stem' of the club is much smaller in proportion to the 'leaves' ( that's the same on a super, master gilco, and decor...all from different generations ) excuse crap phone pics...

http://www.lfgss.com/attachments/72348d1377187324-2013-08-22-16.55.40.jpgit's still a lovely bike and a very attractive build but it has a bit of 'doubt' in my head as I can't find another the same...

Could be a fork form another bike and, maybe, some sloppy work from an outsourced factory.
I think this:
It's a Colnago, but not a real Colnago, I think that's what we mean.

Some enthusiast was telling me last week, Colnago still will do you a custom frame for 2K. Anyone know if this is true?
