I'm heading in your direction.
IF I make it I expect a fanfare, bunting, and a welcoming committee.

On my way. Tables? What about standing around looking menacing?

I am stuck in my hallway. Locked between our door and the front door and rescue is at least 20 mins away. FFS.

I wouldn't mind but last night I went for a ride with dbr, locked myself out then my phone went flat so the neighbour took me in for an hour and gave me tea. Didn't eat dinner till 11. Me and keys don't mix.

^thanks, I made it back on two wheels too. So lovely to see you all. Such a great feeling.
Depending how the next seven days goes, I might contemplate cycling to the Jolly Butchers.

Does anyone on the very East have any good routes through to LMNH? I'm starting to plan my next couple of rides. Yes, I've UTFS and looking at the cycle maps, but some of you do this ride regularly. My start point is Wanstead tube station.

Damn, missed easts at Crate brewery! Must attend soon, been too long!
Shoosh-My preference would be Wanstead flats centre rd, Leytonstone, Cathall rd, Leyton, Eastway (can do off rd path if required), Hackney wick, Vic park, Approach rd, BG rd etc, or bomb it down CS2 all the way! Good luck :)

Don't get too excited, I went to the Olympic Park on official business the other week and had a bit of spare time before I needed to head home so had a quick pootle around.
I barely recognised the OIympic Park. Where once you could walk down wide paths there are now wide, busy (this bit did surprise me) roads with woeful cycle provision. It's really quite depressing.
Maybe other parts are better and I missed them, but it just shows how skin deep their 'commitment to sustainability' seems to be.

Yep, it's bit Range Rover and Audi RS3 happy over there.

Thanks to Forty4Sixteen and Jogger for the LMNH directions/suggestions. It's a bit like the route I'd had in mind.
It is Wednesday, it is East Beers, and barring any major disasters I will be cycling to the Jolly Butchers tonight. Who else is in?
-
• #12247
Possibly in.
