Anyone got any personal recommendations of buildings they've been that have suprised them and been really good?
My personal recommendations would be a personal home - 49 Camberwell Grove. It's very narrow, with a vacume lift of some sort, very clever sky lights, folding beds, lots of space saving ideas and garden divided into rooms. Beautiful throughout and a very nice, chatty owner - http://events.londonopenhouse.org/building/17837
I don't just like modern stuff though, the Kirkaldy testing building on Souhtwark St was really interesting with all it's old victorian machines - http://events.londonopenhouse.org/building/3740
So any good experiences and suggestions from you lot?
This year its on weekend of 21-22 September.

Also another place in peckham was really cool, a modern, minimalist, designed from scratch house with beautiful furniture - 16a Kings Grove - http://events.londonopenhouse.org/building/18432
