It was rather difficult to find 650c Ambrosio Durex rim, took me couple of weeks but to no avail. Then I saw this goes on sale here in the forum, I thought it'd look good so why not. Thanks to fedeaclub.
And here's the blown-up picture: (Seatpost was at Tel's for polishing)
Time to assemble it! First up, headset, bb, saddle, stem, bars and wheels on.
And finally bar-tape, pardon the absence of left tape, still not sure about the colour, though I thought it looks good but I'll leave it like this for now.
Well that's it for now. I'll install the brakeset later on. Today, I'm riding her! And any comments or critics will be appreciated.
Cheers,
Kal

Love it, I like the bar tape too. I want something like this, just to hang on the wall, until the weather is just so. :)

I know I know. I'd say this is Mark I. Well, this one passed so I thought I'd do the same.

Gotta agree with this.
@ Kal : Keep up the conversion project until finish. After that then you can start looking for the geared parts while the bike's already ride-able as SS/FG.

Agreed, if you are strapped, sell the Sherriffs for the appropriate geared parts to compliment the rest of the lovely parts you have planned. They are WAY over invested for a conversion.

Looks lovely. What are you using this for? Faux-track or general fuckery?

Neither. It's for sale actually, haha. Was dickering around the net and found one of my dream frames, so yea need money to fund that one. I was just doing a test ride yesterday.

Yeap, that's the consequence for hanging out a lot at classified threads. Darn!
Greetings,
This is a long-time coming project. Bought the frame almost 7 months ago and finally (almost) finished it. Gotta be honest, this is not gonna be a project with daily updates because I've archived every updates in the past, so here it goes.
I've always wanted to have an Italian frame, a decent one, and a Lo-Pro. A Cinelli Supercorsa would be perfect but budget didn't allow me at the time. Saw this Faggin Pursuit, which is Italian and Lo-Pro, Columbus SLX, and with Cinelli BB shell, perfect! And with these pantographs, I just couldn't miss it.

I know it should be done with gears but I still like the simplicity of single-speed or fixed-gear bike. Perhaps one day. So the theme of the build is Full Italian. Sì.. I decided to build with (almost) full C-Record Pista group. Got the bits from here and there but completed it in the end.
Always dreamed to have Sheriff Star hubs and finally got them! Ahh.. brought back memories of that month where I had to eat pasta everyday. My next mission was to find italian rims. Days later I found Ambrosio Durex on eBay and arrived a week after, now time to build it:
A day later it's straight and true.
