Now sold. Thread closed.
BMC SSX01 medium 54cm Shimano 105.
Selling my BMC SSX01 as I’ve decided to build up a Scott Foil frame that I brought off the forum and am looking to put the money towards a 6800 Ultegra group. Hopefully a new bike might help me ride more!
The bike is in very good condition and runs fine. I only use it for 60-70kms around Essex once a month and I’ve done a couple of other rides including a trip to France but not many kms (usually ride my fixed most places). It’s been up Mt Ventoux, Galibier and Alpe d’ Huez recently and preformed flawlessly. It’s a very comfortable bike to ride, climbing and descending and has served me well for my first road bike. The numerous vintage road bikes ive had before dont compare to a modern bike in terms of comfort.
There are a few scratches and chips from general use (cosmetic only). Some have been touched up. No dents.
The spec is as follows:
Fork:BMC Straightedge 48
Headset: FSA
Front Derailleur: Shimano 105, Braze-on
Rear Derailleur: Shimano 105
Shifters: Shimano 105
Chainset: Shimano compact double (172.5mm)
Cassette: Shimano 105 12-27 Teeth
Chainrings: 34/50 tooth
Brakes: Tektro R710
Handlebars: Scor MKIII, Cinelli cork tape.
Stem: Deda Zero 110mm (new)
Wheels: Shimano, R500
Tyres: Continental Ultra Race
Saddle: Selle italia X1 (new)
Seat Post: Thompson elite
No pedals.
I’m looking for £475.
Collection from Leyton East London or I work in Paddington.
