sorley: although it may not be a Pinarello, it is obviously a decent frame. £160-£180??! why you low-balling everyone.... I just had a look your past posts, almost every single one you are trying to knock people down on price.....not a good start.

It has none of the distinctive Pinarello markings. I would value it at about £160-180 for a no name track iron. Nice though... It would probably get less than this on ebay.

thanks luckyskull. i think its a reasonable price with a nice bb and headset. I've found two other almost identical frames which i think show the standard of the framebuilding. If its not a Pinarello (although im still convinced its a lesser known custom/export model), it could be a Ciocc/Vicini.... http://www.pedalroom.com/bike/80s-ciocc-track-bike-5906

Pretty legit sounding back story to be fair. If I needed another frame I'd be keen...
-
• #34
don't you have another front wheel with black rim? I'd take the Wheelset in a heartbeat...

looks fantastic and I gotta say, I believe the backstory. I reckon its a specific custom/export jobby made by Pina. Probably made by Pinarello without the little touches so its easier to build/cheaper for the franchiser so they can make a profit.
If I needed it id have it. It looks gorgeous and pretty unique

Forks are defo not pina though. Fischer crown or however it's spelled. Very British.

^ this, they may not be original?
nether the less, i really like it... a lot. if i could justify another bike i would love to add this to my stable. -

^and this.
I guess they just imported frames and put forks on themselves?
People pay a lot for those forks on ebay, tempted to buy and split and hunt down some more original/pina forks... dangerous route though. -
