I wouldn't repaint that. Hilary is not known for being cheap though - man has to make a living somehow I suppose.

I'd agree about not wanting to respray but that's pretty heavy patina and for the price asked I'd have expected the finish to be much tidier.

But what do I know.

I've got a couple of size EU48 Specialized shoes for sale if anyone similarly-cursed in the foot dept is on the lookout for some cheapies.

1st is a pair of Primos (mtb) in used-but-by-absolutely-no-means knackered condition. I'd be happy to let these go for a tenner plus postage.

2nd a pair of unused Sonomas (touring) that I bought as back-ups but never ended up needing; the cleat covers haven't even been removed. I'd be after £25 plus postage for these.

PM me for pics if interested, or wait a couple of days and I'll post a proper ad like an unlazy person.

Saw this bike tonight. Sadly a bit small for me (at 6' 6", much of it leg), but I can vouch for the frame. A proper Raleigh in 531C, decently light for its size, nice and straight and with no dents, dings or signs of accident damage. A few patches of superficial rust have been treated with something pending a re-spray. All in, a good honest bike, and I think £200 is a more than fair price for someone who fits it better than me. Seller is away for ten days now.
