instead of changing chainring from 46 to 48, you could always get a different cog? might be cheaper and easier?

True that, I forgot about that as an option. Will look in to that if I don't end up replacing the whole crankset. Thanks

I have a 48 tooth chain ring off my Langster...will be removing the crankset soon so you could have that ring? The crank arms will be shot unless the bike shop can get them off without ruining anymore threads but are you simply wanting the chainring?

I've got a new boxed 105 triple rear D (5700) but it is grey
£32.60 gets it posted to you though RM compo only to £20
Also SRAM 10 speed chain, new in box including a new carded KMC quick link (As the SRAM 'power links' are anything but quick & are a bugger to fit never mind remove!)
£15.40 posted or £14 with derailleur
Lastly, new black double SPD pedals including new cleats
£17.60 posted or £15 if bought with the derailleur,
SPD's + chain would be £31.60
If take all three I could jimmy up a box and get them in the same package and with Royal Mail 'signed for' with compo to £50 would be £62
PM me with email for piccies if anything of interest -

Cranks are EX Shimano...

Im after a few bits/bikes for myself and friends and thought this might be easier and has reaped some rewards in the past...
Cheap Singlespeed Build
58cm around the £100 mark for a friend to consider.
Shimano 105 Groupset Parts
I need the following to complete a touring bike im building, all need to be black and as new as possible would be nice:
10spd rear mech, chain, spd pedals and may also consider (although will need to be cheap) a double crankset.
48T Chainring
Ideally a Sugino Messenger 130 p.c.d (I have a 46T one I could swap, or happy to buy). Others considered.
ALTERNATIVELY
Track Crankset with a 48T chainring (like an rd2 for example). Then ill stick the FSA crankset I have on my track bike on the tourer and buy new rings for that and put new ones on the track bike.
To be honest iv really confused myself as to what I want to do with regards to cranksets (I was just going to share my FSA ones between bikes but I think thats more hassle than its worth)....so tempt me but as ever needs to be on the cheaper side of things.
Fixed Wheel/Wheelset
Finally iv convinced my friend to get new wheels as im fed up of trueing his "vintage" ones for him with broken spokes that he wont fix...
However he now wants to go fixed. On his racing frame with horizontal dropouts and 130mm rear spacing. Let me know if you can help.
Im not actually living in London anymore but am there quite often for collections or have friends that I might be able to get to pick up for me. Postage on smaller items may be easier though.
Thanks for anything you may have.
