Wanted: 700C Clincher Road Wheelset

Hi there,

Looking to go touring to France and need to lose my tubs and replace them with some clinchers, 700C with 120 or 126 rear spacing. Anyone got anything lying around?

hmmm, i've got a touring wheelset with 126mm spacing,

they are best suited to 28mm tyres,

PM if you're interested for £95 (the price paid; the spokes were straightened and tightened at the weekend!) otherwise i'm gonna have to send them back to Wales!

28mm tyres are probably too wide but if nothing comes up they'll probably do. Anything else out there?

Got some Mavic Aksiums Shimano fitting looking to sell to raise money for some handmades, if you want? Excellent condition no skewers but I have some red titanium skewers brand new I can throw in too? £120 collection?

If you want something cheap and cheerful I have this 90's set.

Bear in mind traditional wheel builds rather than fancy modern straight pull spokes (like Aksiums) will be much easier and cheaper to repair in far away lands.
