Evening all...
A long-time lurker and first-time poster, I am currently suffering from baby-induced insomnia (first one and four months old) and from a realisation that I should have made a first post some time ago.
I don't technically fg/ss in London, as I commute on a modded, three-speed, snot-green Raleigh Stowaway. But I do ss at the weekend, at home in Cambridgeshire, when time and child allows.
Great advice and banter on here. See you on the (potholed) tarmac in the smoke!
Richie

Hello all,
been lurking for a couple of weeks, like the atmosphere here, especially the photography threads. Was on the C+ board when it started, but I'm limiting my online presence here until I get a pompino - when I will probably bore everyone with questions about it.
Living in Southall, so it's just London, and hoping to get out on a ride with the Wests.

A shout-out from a 24-year old girl from Helsinki, Finland. I like to ride both gears and fixed. I'll hopefully get to glimpse the London scene live this autumn, as my sister is moving there to study and I'll be visiting.

hai all - sometime lurker turned poster here.
I'm a Londoner but not technically a fg/ss rider at the mo', just a gear loving roadie. There's a rusty project underway to remedy this and I'm hoping your advice & constructive abuse may help to finish it off, cos I'm in need of some motivation.
Looking fwd to meeting the fine folks here, both of them, and the rest of you lot ;-)

Hi,
I'm from Paris and moslty lurk on this site as I'm my national fixed gear forum pignonfixe.com.
As you have some nice threads for components and classified I figured I'd sign up ! -

Hi all
I am new to the forum and have already made a purchase from the classifieds :-) I am currently not pedalling due to a second stage ACL reconstruction and am building up a road bike for rehab due to being advised to steer clear of Enduro DH and DH racing for now ...booo......
Am building up a Lapierre Audacio 500 which is kinda getting a bit addictive considering I am still in a leg brace :-) Just bought some swiss side Franc Evo 3s , ultegra and 105 running gear and a nice carbon and ti saddle along with other more basic finishing kit pieces.
Now looking for ten speed shifters to match 6700 / 5700 drivetrain.
Cant wait to finish the beast and get out riding!

Hey hey, not in London, but every search I do on SS bits directed me this way so figured I should sign up. Had a tidy SS stolen in June, so as a treat for my 40th I've just ordered a frame from Shand Cycles here in Scotland, being built in November. Excited? Obsessed would be closer...trying to hang as many shiny shiny bits on there as possible, so getting as much info/opinions as I can from this brilliant wealth of knowledge. I'm actually a Mtb'er so need all the pointers I can get! Anyway thanks for the help I've gained lurking so far, might even dare to post a question now...

Hi all I'm from devon and do a few miles on my road bike but have decided I fancy a fixie so here I am! It seems like a nice site you have here and very help full. I'm hoping to build my own bike from a 60's or 70's racer so I will have a lot of question but please excuse the newbie. Thanks in advance !!
Hello LFGSS; I'm Michael, I cycle through SE occasionally. You might see me on this yellow "Cinelli"; don't forget to say hey!
