  • That's really nice. Without seeing it in the flesh (or the movement inside as it's a front loader) I'd say you've got yourself an original one mate. It certainly looks like it from tiny age related marks on the case and crown plus the hands / batons / etc match with pics of other Seastar Sevens.

    Only thing that doesn't fit with the listing, which says it's probably 30 to 40 years old and lists it from 1971 to 1983 is that it is certainly older than this. I'd guess at mid to late 60s. Reason being that it says 'waterproof' on the back and due to a change in the law after 1969 watches had to say 'water resistant' as they couldn't ever be 'proof' but could resist water.

    this little tissot is immaculate. probably better than it looks in the pics. it nice to own something so old that has been so well looked after.

    not had a dainty little number before, either. suits my gecko wrist.
