  • It gets more complicated ($) to build with a dropped axle, and besides, COG wouldn't be too much of an issue for such a trailer unless it was piled pretty high and you went 'round corners at speed. I hope you're not basing your load pulling techniques on the early B.O.B. trailer ads.

    Shut up, poundshop string is a perfectly safe way of securing a bike to a trailer. I also added a handy "TOP" to the top of the platform to stop dunces like me spending ages trying to figure out which way up it's supposed to go.

    Oh and it's now in Balham for anyone who wants it. Free to pick up as of tomorrow.

    Stuff is never used as it was intended. With the trailer up there ^^^^^^^^ as it's a box frame they could relocate the axle to the top of the frame instead of the bottom.
