I have no need for a book of excuses as I raced last night.
Got caught by the leaders with less than half a lap to go which annoyed me as my first goal is always to not get lapped. However, I went as hard as I could so I have no complaints.
It was fun. although the course was a bit lacking in any technical sections, with just two short excursions into the woods. I'm looking forward to racing at Herne Hill next week, it'll be interesting to see how the changes to the entire site affect the course and racing.
