Snowboarding

Just booked NYE in Avoriaz....

First time boarding, have done lessons, so looking forward to getting onto proper snow. Going with my brother, who has been boarding for a few years but has never been to Avoriaz. Anyone been and got any thoughts?

Avoriaz is most awesome. What I really love is that you have to get a cable car up into the town as there are no cars allows which gives the town a very magical feel. Saw the Westbeach team training last time I was there. The runs kick ass, nice and wide so good for a beginner. Have a awesome time! You're gonna love it and then have to divide you time spending money on cycling bits and snowboarding bits!
