Had my lovely single speed marinoni stolen from the hallway of our building on Victoria Park Rd, Hackney. 9pm to 11:30pm Monday 5th Aug 2013.
Pretty rare frame - so unless it's been resprayed (which would be a shame) it should stick out like a sore thumb. If anyone spots please let me know / punch the thieving btd in the face and grab my bike back! :(
Details:
Frame: 56cm Purple with white 'marinoni' decals, Columbus tubing, Chrome chainstay.
Chrome front forks
GB stem
Engraved drop bars
52t campag chainring and cranks
Miche front brake (no rear)
Omega wheels - black, large hub - think it had a gatorskin on one, armadillo on the other..
Flip-flop hub with 18t freewheel and 18t fixed (when stolen was set up as SS)

Stolen:
White Doniselli track bike
This is my mate's, was stolen from his canal boat in Debeauvoir. Can't find any photos, but I built it for him ages ago so this is what I can remember of it:
Hi Deebles,
My bike got taken from a boat moored just by De Beauvoir last Sunday. I've sent out a couple of notices on the boaters' list and Hackney cycling, and I heard that two thieves were nabbed on the canal path and were carrying the tools of their trade, but it was over near Vicky Park. Apparently the police can't share much information while investigations are proceeding, but happy to let you know if I hear anything else.

Hi all, trying to spread some love for the recently bereft of their bikes. It's cold comfort but kinda nice to know that I'm not the only one heartbroken with bike theft this week.
I found this advice good for keeping up moral: http://stolen-bikes.co.uk/recovering-your-stolen-bike/ I spoke to the guy who built my bike and he said that keeping an eye out over coming months is no bad thing, bikes sometimes take a while to resurface. But hope lives eternal...
Let me know if anyone wants to do a joint lookaround Brick Lane/New Covent Garden Market one weekend. And I'll keep a look out for the bikes recently posted, grateful if you can return the favour.

Hi thanks for the link (that's my website), definitely go for a look around the markets having been to Brick Lane myself you can tell they shift a load of bikes over the weekend.
One thing I did notice is they seem to come and go with different bikes, so they may be storing them on bike racks close to the market (on one occasion I spotted them selling a bike, that I had previously spotted at some racks opposite the brick lane bike shop).
If you could consider printing off a few of the other recent London thefts on the website, and keeping an eye out for those that would be greatly appreciated (If you spot any, let me know and I'll happily reward the effort with some vouchers, whether anything comes of it or not).

Will have a look out dan would appreciate it if you could do the same (blue fort track bike - http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3468/...4244797a_o.jpg )
I had a look at Deptford market this morning - saw none of the bikes recently posted.
All I did see were two bikes locked in the car park so not shown for sale: a Litespeed with Shimano 600 and a blue dolan with alpina forks which looked a bit out of place.
I also had a general wander around Brixton / Herne Hill / Clapham North / Brockwell etc. Unfortunately nothing

Also had a mosey up to brick lane. Saw nothing from here up there nor anything of great note.

Jenni posted about her stolen bike with a picture a couple pages back if anyone wants to check. Probably better to let her know if you see it rather than FixedStar or another member of Team Darkness.Hmmm... Noiser more like Silence. But if you do want to let Jenni know if you've seen it by all means.

On another note I had a nice cruise around Brick Lane today spotted a few road frames that had been rattle canned. So was hard to tell without further inspection. Lots of Singlespeed conversions being setup. Even as I was browsing around two road bike were being setup with a new cheap o single speed wheel set.
