Looks like some brain-dead idiot tried to force in a seatpost that was too wide for the frame, and did so at an angle with a hammer or something.
Personally I wouldn't buy that as it is, needs to have the seat tube replaced for sure, you can see it starting to crimp, a pothole or anything could fold it.
Dear Tyrrell.
As I wrote in the add: "Former owner has had problems with a firmly grown seatpost and it has left its traces. But it is only cosmetic and the frame is overall very nice! Price reflects condition. It's a really tight and beautiful bike."
I don't know how you know what has happened with my bike in Copenhagen or know that the bike will fall apart if driving into a pothole.
The case is:
The seatpost got stuck in the seattube (as they sometimes do) a few years ago. The former owner chopped it off and tried to remove it with a screwdriver (don't know why). The damage in the seattube is therefore caused by his attempt to remove the old seatpost. When driving with a common seatpost, that is not too short, there is absolutely no problems or anything dangerous about it. The frame will not fall apart. It is then only cosmetic.
I know the price has dropped because of his stunt, and that is why I am selling the bike a lot cheaper than the other japanese NJS frames on lfgss. If the price is too high, please let me know - in a personal message.
I really hope your story didn't scare potentially buyers from buying my bike. It's a really nice bike. If you are interested in buying it I will send you more photos of the damaged area.
As of now I don't want to split the bike because of the relatively high shipping cost from Denmark to UK.
