It is. I have a folder of pictures of colours I would like to paint a bike one day, of which that is one.

Can someone do sparkles in the UK ? or "only in Japan" . I'd love to get my frame painted like this.

Armourtex can do sparkles.

Armourtex recently powdercoated my Rourke, black with sparkle (nickel) through it. Turned out really nice.

The type on the track frame above is fairly hard to get hold of as it 'lays' flat'. Standard metal flake used in the custom world is piled under layer after layer of lacquer giving it a real rich depth and colour.

Done right, the flakes should be smooth to the touch. Done wrong, you'll be able to feel the flakes.

There's a NOS low-pro frame on the Arthur Caygill website which has an amazing paint job. It's £399, Columbus SLX and as much as I desperately want to own it, it'd be a waste as it's only a 53cm.

Ohh nice man, my biggest regret ever in building bikes is painting over the original paint job on my Guerciotti, i did tape over the original decals so i still got those on there.

i was thinking of repainting it when i first got it, my girlfriend convinced me not to, so happy i didn't ignore her

I only did because of how battered the paint got, wanted to protect it
