I might try and join if it's not too fast, I'm totally unfit.

My gear shifter's being fixed by Push. Would like to join the ride if it's done in time...

Gonna try and make this too, if I can sort out some sleeping arrangements in time.
Also ridiculously slow since gimpy leg times...

I'm tempted. Will double check my diary...

Dudes, we will be riding together. No rider left behind. It's a social ride, not a training rider or a race.
I think we should meet at 5.30 by the Pub on the Park, aiming to leave at 6pm sharp. And have all food etc already on bikes to avoid unnecessary mucking about.

I'm meant to be riding overnight to the Durdle Door with work but I think I might die. If I can find a frame bag I might sack it off and come with you guys...

On Saturday I camped in Ongar Park Wood. It's mature woodland. You could hear the M11, and planes landing at Stansted, but it's hard to find somewhere within a couple of hours of inner London where all you can hear is wildlife and the wind in the trees.

I need to be back at my house by 9.30am, so will want to be on the road by 7.30am. Shouldn't be a big problem, as dawn will be sometime before 6am.

If you are up for a bit of sleeping in ditches, meet at London Fields by the Pub on the Park, Saturday 5.30pm.

How far you planning to ride? Could be in with a +1 but depends on distance/route/speed/ss suitability.
-
• #465
Not far. Last week it was 20 miles. Probably going to ride up Lea Valley and then go over Epping (a shortish hill) and then just past M25.

I decided to ride to the Durdle Door, I am definitely going to die! If anyone wants to join, TokyoMorvelo CC are meeting at Kinoko Cycles at 6.45pm, we are eating burritos and then aiming to leave at 8pm. It is 130 miles in total, there will be a broom wagon driven by John from Kinoko. I hope to get there by 6am but maybe that's wishful thinking! Anyone can come with, we never leave anyone behind... oh and bring your swimmers!!

That'd be right up my street usually, give me a shout if any similar rides happen in the future.

I was thinking about leading a ride around Surrey hills on Christmas Eve if there is interest? Much like the famous London to Brighton Ride this summer, riding as a group with no one being left behind. Something in the region of 40 to 60 miles taking in Leith hill, Ranmore Common and Box Hill, depending on what people want to do. This isn't a training ride, there will be pubs!
P.S I will try and get another off road section like the Brighton ride.

Stop at HH on the way back, Stingray... There should be a few of us playing polo all day if the weather's good...
