Common 'shit moment' when i realises i wasn't riding gears today and had a massive kick back when slowing down at the lights! =s
Haha
I got back from holiday on Monday. I did about 1000 miles on a road bike during my holiday. When I got back, I grabbed my track bike and rode to a friend of mine. Half way I stopped peddling for a second and my rear wheel went up in the air for about half a meter.
During my holiday:
Going down a steep hill in France, with a heavy cart hooked up to the rear axle of my road bike which makes it really unstable, going around 45 mph in heavy rain when a car passes and nearly hits me.
I don't know what it is with people with a GB sign on their license plate but they keep trying to hit me with their cars. I always learned it were the French that were the worst drivers. Turns out it's mostly the Dutch and English that can't drive or have no respect for the life of a cyclist. I damaged a few cars (hey, I didn't want to shift, don't hit my handlebars with your mirror...grrrrr...). All the British I've met were really nice people, as long as they don't try to kill me with their car.
I've had so many o shit moments in my holiday, it was unbelievable.
