I'm selling this for a friend, who is hoping to get £410 or near offers. The frameset was used in Soviet Union junior team training camps in Ventspils, Latvia from 1986-1989. After the collapse of Union, the frame was placed in a shed and forgotten about, together with other frames and bicycle parts until 2011 when it was built up in a look it is today. It has lived in Riga and been lightly used and well looked after since then, and only for sale as the owner is now more into polo and can't justify N+1 bikes... Set up as shown for the 180cm owner (approx 5'10"/5'11").
The bike can be brought to London for the London Bike Polo 2013 Open so will be available from 23 - 25 August. The If there's no interest on here or the price is wrong it will go on ebay.
There's lots of information on XB3 on the web, it was the biggest and best known bicycle factory in the Soviet Union, located in Kharkov, Ukraine (established in 1923).
