LEL 2013 / London - Edinburgh - London Audax

Did anyone do this fixed? We're their groups of riders that rode the whole thing together? Surely if you chain ganged it in turns it would make it much easier?

I know of a few people that did it on fixed this time. It's not really different from doing any other Audax on fixed, LEL is closer to the tame end of the scale than the tricky end.

Many people form little subgroups for riding but natural cycles of tiredness and fresh legs mean that you'll end up doing a reasonable chunk of the ride on your own. PBP is much better for mini-pelotons.
