In other souths news, Burgess Park BMX track (approx £650,000 from Southwark Council) opened about half an hour ago. I dont know much about the quality of the track but it looks fantastic and complicated, to an unknowing eye.

Shows what can be done if you grow a bike related sport and get kids interested in it. A bit of organisation and pressure, the money is there to get things built.
