I'll have a dibs there fella. Firm no flakey...
Evening all.
I have a first generation 13" Macbook Air that runs perfectly well but it has a damaged hinge...unfortunately it no longer supports its own weight and is cracked along the underside. Apart from this physical damage to the case it runs perfectly though.
It is a 1.6GHz 2GB 120GB hard drive model, so not top of the range but it runs pretty smoothly. Unfortunately I don't have the magsafe charger for it but they can be picked up online pretty cheap.
This is the issue with it, which unfortunately Apple will no longer cover the repair of - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2948
Due to this defect, I would like £100 for it. Its a great machine and shouldn't cost any more than £200 to get it repaired. Unfortunately I am only back in the country for a couple of weeks before heading back to Japan so couldn't get it repaired in that timeframe.
I will be in London later this week and happy to meet whenever/wherever and will post pics tomorrow if there is any interest.
Cheers
