Noob question: By this you mean they won't take a recessed-nut front brake? (Coz I saw a hole in the second picture and that got all interested). Bummer.

You will need to drill out the rear hole to fit a modern brake. They currently only fit old school type brake calipers or acor caliper brakes (which I can offer almost brand new for extra fiva). Cheers
