Well, shame about the weather, but I can't help thinking this was Australia's game to win, and weather excuses aside, they probably needed to bat to 600-650 in the 1st innings (or batted much quicker to 450-500) and not have let England get so far up the board and on the bigger side of 350 in order to really ensure the win.
Can't blame the weather too much, it may have allowed Aus to extend the 2nd innings by 50 runs or so, but it could have also meant more ideal batting conditions for England to chase the total or save the game.

Australia are going to 'do a Matty Goss' by getting into a great position and coming away empty handed.
