This frame is a bit of a mystery. When I purchased it a while back I was told it was a rare Falcon San Remo, not sure if that is true or any way of checking, but it's a really nice frame whatever it is! I've been riding it as my main commuting bike for the past year & it rides really well, has never given me any problems at all.
Frame & stays made from Reynolds 531 butted tubing (seat tube 50cm c-c; top tube 55cm c-c), it's nice & lightweight and responsive. Some nice detailing on the curly lugs too. Campagnolo dropouts. Price includes frame, forks, headset, cranks, pedals & bottom bracket.
The frame is in good structural condition, no dents or cracks. Cosmetically it has the usual chips, scratches & small rust patches expected with a used of its age (see photo's). Looks like it's been repainted at some point in the past over the top of the old paint job - I decided to leave it as is to use as a commute bike, or it would look great stripped & resprayed.
The Campagnolo headset was serviced recently at Kinoko Cycles - was completely smooth until I took the bars & wheels off today and noticed it felt slightly gritty so will just need a quick clean and re-grease.
The forks are Tange, pedals are Shimano SPD 540. The cranks are 170mm mis-matching - driveside is SR Royal other side is similar unbranded. Bottom bracket is smooth.
Rear spacing is 126mm, front spacing 105mm. Takes a 27mm seatpost which I can throw in if needed.
Looking for £100 including postage within UK, or £85 collection in London.
Thanks mate, it's a nice quality little frame - would be interested if anyone can help identify it. Only selling as I need the space & cash as I've just purchased another bike!
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
