  • ^ Maybe, not for me personally. But the point was he couldn't find a hat that worked. P20 is available in all high st chemists. A tennis visor thing is another option.

    I've got a small Kriega saddle bag for my motorbike. I seem to remember it being around the £30 mark, but that may be mis-remembered. It's increadably tough and well made and would hold the sort of kit you're after. Mine usually held; shirt, lunch, lock, bike cover.

    There are plenty of hoops and strapy bits so I think you could easily convert one. Plus I would hazard a guess that they, and similar products, will be cheaper and possibly more durable than any bike packing stuff jus because of the increased market size and economies of scale.

    Best thing is to go to a motorbike shop and have a look at them.
