Skateboarding

I think it's wrong to say Billy Bragg hates skateboarders.

However it does seem a rather lazy article. He doesn't really explain the background to why representitives of skaters refused to meet with other community groups. He is setting himself up against skaters in this. I think it's not a very thought-provoking article, rather antagonistic - skaters don't like buskers - skaters are stopping poor kids have opportunities - which is obviously bollocks. Skaters never needed no grants or arts council to make SB an amazing spot. So Bragg is def being a twat IMO.

BB doesn't live or vote in London so he should go pontificate back home in Dorset.

His attempt to engage with skaters involved him going into Slam City and shouting at the Saturday kids working until he was asked to leave by management. They have it all on CCTV but he continued to lie on Twitter about his behaviour.
