What's wrong with Evans? There are loads around and it will give you the opportunity try them both out side-by-side to see which you actually prefer riding. They also do a price match so you'll be able to get the same as any online price.
Does the Lager still have a Euro BB? I doubt it makes much difference, but if so I'd choose the Felt just for that reason as I prefer standard things, especially if its a beater.
EDIT: just spotted the Lager has mudgaurd mounts... so if you're using it to commute then that may be a major tick.
