Interesting one this morning.

I was cycling down the ramp, in primary, onto Embankment from Blackfriars to head towards Somerset house. All was well. I had an Addison lee driver honking at me but no change there. I continued in primary, and when I reached Embankment, I looked over my right shoulder, saw that all was clear, indicated right and moved across into the right hand lane, as this is where I need to be to turn off so that I can get to my place of work. I continue, cycling fast, so that I am keeping speed with the traffic. Then all of a sudden I hear the rozzers, I quickly turn around and see an undercover three series estate approaching from behind. I brake, indicate and pull over to my right, to the central reservation. Expecting them to fly past me, I get ready to clip back in and carry on. But only, they stop right next to me, roll down the drivers window and then the copper proceeds to shout at me, telling me that 'if you want to stay alive stop weaving in and out of traffic, stop cycling down the middle of the lane and stay on the left hand side of the left hand lane like all the other cyclists!!!' I told him that 'I am turning right and therefore need to be in the right hand lane! I am cycling in the middle of the lane so that I cannot be dangerously overtaken!' He then just sped off, ignoring what I said.

I got his number plate, or what I think was his number plate. But I just want to confirm that it's correct before I give it out publicly.

Was I in the wrong? Or was he just a cunt?

Report him and suggest he has cycle training.
