What about the fact that a whole load of people out there can't stop their bikes in time even if they're not sitting on your wheel and it's really obvious you're stopping?
I always move into primary before I stop (if I'm not already) not because of cars or anything but because it means most idiots who would rear end me otherwise will go to my left.
