Dolan Pre Cursa / PreCursa / Track Champion

edgar, you thought about using a 130bcd crank? I'm running an old Shimano (exage something, I think) with a 107mm bb and 42mm chainline, with no clearance issues. I got a 42t on there at the moment but had it fitted with a 52t with no problems.

I picked up a veloce 111mm bb on the way home and it seems a bit better, not perfect but better. I haven't ridden it yet but the spider is a hair away from the frame so a little worried about how it'll be under stress so I will see what it's like on the way to work tomorrow.

If it doesn't work out I'll give a 130bcd a go!

Not all 28c tyres will fit in all alpina track forks.

Pretty sure you could get most 28s in very comfortably

They look alright in fairness, I would've gone for white over the matt black, but they only go up to 56 apparently.

Fair enough. I do like the sound of red ones though. A red and black build would look alright imo.

I have 42t RD2 cranks on my pre cursa with a 105mm bb with no problems.

The 103 I originally planned to put in it was a bit tighter though and probably would've caused problems.

I really wish the normal pre cursa finish was gloss instead of matte, it'd look slick and the matte seems mad easy to chip

my (matt) precursa has glossy spots on the top tube where the airflow has polished it, I guess some older ones must be further along if the paint has survived?

More likely where your legs have rubbed it.
