just finished building this up for the coming cx season.
I built this up as a budget sscx bike for the coming cx season. I raided the parts bin, and some friends donated bits n pieces - many thanks to them!
Anyway, spec is
surly cross check f&f
ritchey wcs rims on no name hubs
ritchey stem
orbea bars
tektro levers
fsa canti brakes
sram rival crank set with gxp bb
campag seatpost with giant seat
Plan is to race it as a sscx and upgrade some of the parts over the season. Its currently running 34 19 gearing - I will see how i get on with that. Im using a 10spd freehub with spacers,so i have a full range of gearing to play around with. its about 9kg, with some sensible upgrades I think i could get it to about 8kg which i would be happy with.
