What do you want to do with it/them? They all smell but it does reduce with time. Try the Milton fluid but it might bleach some colour out of it. If you're not in a rush to do something with it then leave it outside where it can't be carted off by foxes or strays. Then go back to it after a week, month etc and see how it smells. You can buy antler smell for training dogs to retrieve so it is clearly a distinctive smell.
