It is with a heavy heart that I find myself posting my first classified. I crashed my Raleigh Superbe THUS and now the frame is knackered.
Everything else is in working order, so it's worth a bit in spares, but I don't have the time or energy to split it, so if you want it, come and get it. N16
Give me whatever you think is fair, or just take it for nothing. Otherwise it will languish for ever.
Here you can clearly see the mudguard/brake-rod interference.
Home made standlight.
In the box are for diodes arranged in a bridge to rectify the current from the hub. Then it goes through some re-chargeable batteries and on to the lamps. It doesn't work amazingly, but it does work. I don't know enough about electronics to refine it.
For a while I had a little switch on the handlebars to switch the lights off and on, the batteries being more or less charged respectively.
In there is a warm white Cree XPG I ordered all the way from Hong Kong before Maplin started selling them. They say it should be used with a heat sink, but in this application it's had no problems without. It seems to give the best beam rear facing.
I got a red led from HK too, but the old SA hub just couldn't make the power to run both at once, so this is a regular very bright led from the high street.
Both the housings I found cheap on Brick Lane.

One day quite some time ago I decided I'd improve the regularity of the breaking by truing the wheels. I started and the first spoke snapped. I've been riding it since with 36 front and 39 rear without any problems and actually, it didn't make it any worse.
The other funny thing about the back wheel is who ever put it together back in the day, did so like this. Also note here 590 tyre size.
Final points
The saddle is Brooks vinyl nos bought about 18 months ago.
The tyres have plenty of life in them.
The lights could easily be transferred to any bike with a working Dynohub.
The frame, not that it matters is 22 inch square ctc.
The original left crank cracked at the pedal, of all days on the morning of The Big Ride.
The right original pedal failed a few months ago.
One thing I forgot to mention, the shifter is the metal four speed type, with the threaded ferrule and fairly new inner and outer cable. Works fine with AG hub.

Note well, the bike is not rideable.
It breaks my heart that this happened.
