• The Brompton has probably the best design because it folds in thirds instead of in half like the others. You can also partially fold it and walk.

    Brompton is made of steel whereas the Dahon Curve has an alloy frame. Both have 16 inch wheels (BUT the standards are not the same! IIRC, 349 for Brompton instead of 305 for the Curve). Both feature an internal gear hub, Sturmey Archer for the Brompton (112mm rear spacing...) and Shimano for the Curve (Nexus 8 on mine).

    Also, there are quite a lot of Brompton-specific parts. For example, the brakes are specific dual-pivot calipers VS regular V-brakes on the Dahon.
