-
• #1861
Sorry ladies... Got mega busy at work and broke my phone so couldn't get online to postpone it. I think we ought to aim for the thursday before LO? that way there'll be more girls in town? xx
-
• #1862
good idea, I believe that the team I'm hosting are all girlies so depending upon when they get in they might be up for it too

Hey girls...
Anyone who wants to have a say in where LA VI should be next year should register at:
http://leagueofbikepolo.com/ladiesarmy6/register-to-vote
You have to register to vote before the 31st of August and you need to sign up to league of bike polo in order to vote. Have a say eh! xx
Don't forget to register to vote for this within the next 2 weeks.
And then vote for Toronto. It's only a 7 hour flight, and you've got one of the biggest ladies scenes in NA organising it, and you've got a place to stay ;)

and you've got a place to stay ;)
Still gonna be megacreepin' from across the pond... I don't think anyone other than SF are potentially putting in bids are they?
TO is nice enough, and then it's a 5 hour drive to Ottawa or Montreal (you need to get in some french microbreweries and hospitality while you're there). Potential for ladies polo retreat near my folks house in Quebec too...
(I'm obviously well biased for the T'rana bid)
-
• #1865
Yeah, that's the only other one I've heard of.
But seriously, I'd love to see you all in Toronto.
-
• #1866
John H, are you running the Toronto bid? ;)
-
• #1867
Dude, I'd be well up for it! Two birds, one stone!
-
• #1868
Me? Nope, that's the ladies there. I will obviously offer my assistance in any way possible, but Chandel is leading it.
-
• #1869
Nice, still never been to Canada!

John, do them a huge favour and start a forum for them, their FB page is inadequate. The top posting format doesnt work for polo threads.
While you're at it, sort out their fucked up throw in system.
(As soon as a game is over, they all run to put their mallet into the fence, because first in the fence plays the next game).I'm still not moving there in a few years though, I swear.
-
• #1871
Facebook seems to work fine for them. I don't want another forum to waste so much time on.
And yeah, I don't like the fence system either, but when in Rome...

• #1872
When you're in rome

Well, if you're gonna be there john....

If this is on Thursday 22 August in Newington then count me in.
Hey ladies (cue Beagle stop reading the thread),
We've had a bit of new interest in our London Ladies Facebook page and quite a few new girls trying it out and starting to kick some butt. Would be nice to start this up again, I'm thinking once a month for now and see where the interest lies?
Ladies polo Thursday 8th August:
