Van Uden, thanks for the response, makes perfect sense. I have a small but choice Seiko collection, and it's my 40th birthday in October. Sounds like I know how to pick my next purchase!

Well here's my restored 7625 from March 1969.
Nice. Reminds me of my Dec 71 Seiko 5. I really should get that looked at because it has little power reserve - but I don't want to be told that it's shot.

I need/want a new watch.
Decisions, decisions.

What's on the shortlist? Vintage? New?
-

Old or new.
There are a few select pieces I've wanted over the the last few years.
Hublot, Jaeger, Ikepod, IWC & Dunhill are on the list.

downloaded the plans for the watch roll, for future tinkering, although.......mine won't look like it.

Those dimensions are for the 5 watch version.
Will send you measurements for the 'three watch roll' as well.
Or, if the real thing is better let me know.

do I divide that by 5, then times 3 ?
:)

Is that new math you speak of?
-
• #8921
don't confuse me.

The only Hublot I like only comes in quartz.
-
• #8923
Hublot's a bit loud for you, no?
-

Only interested in an early model when the cases were still thin and 39mm. The new ones are horrible.

DMC must be rocking an AP? This one I'd bet...
Yep, great shop and people, thoroughly recommended! Thanks for the heads up.
